This role is for someone who understands how to generate demand, not just deliver marketing activity.
You’ll be expected to take responsibility for strategy, execution and lead quality, working closely with leadership and the commercial team to create a B2B marketing engine that supports revenue growth.
You’ll need to be confident owning channels, messaging, reporting and optimisation, while staying hands-on with copy, campaigns, sales collateral and digital execution. This is not a junior marketing role and it is not a brand-only role — it is for an experienced B2B marketer who wants to build, improve and be accountable for lead generation.
At least 5 years of full-time experience in a B2B marketing role
Strong experience building and delivering lead generation or demand generation activity
Clear evidence of using digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, email or content, to drive leads and sales
The ability to create strategy and then execute it hands-on
Strong written communication and attention to detail
Confidence working closely with commercial teams and leadership
A commercially minded approach, focused on qualified leads and revenue impact rather than vanity metrics
Good judgement, initiative and the ability to improve systems, messaging and performance over time
This is not a traditional B2B marketing manager role sitting inside a large team with everything already in place.
You’ll be joining a content-led business where pace is fast, expectations are high and marketing needs to make a clear commercial impact. If you enjoy building structure, improving lead generation, taking ownership of performance and working closely with sales, this role offers more responsibility and more influence than a typical in-house marketing position.
Building and executing a lead generation strategy to support business growth
Improving our digital presence across website, email and other owned channels
Creating high-quality written content, campaign assets and sales collateral
Using data to test, refine and improve marketing tactics and performance
Supporting business development with better messaging, materials and funnel thinking
Analysing and reporting on marketing effectiveness to leadership
Researching prospects, markets and content opportunities thoroughly
Building relationships and helping strengthen our B2B marketing function
Taking ownership of how marketing contributes to pipeline and revenue
We want to see evidence that you can build and improve lead generation.
As part of the application process, shortlisted candidates will be expected to demonstrate how they approach demand generation, channel selection, messaging, optimisation and commercial impact in practice.
We want you to share examples of campaigns you’ve run, explaining how your work influenced leads or sales, and completing a short task designed to show how you would approach B2B growth in a hands-on role like this.
