Our history
YouPlatforms was founded in 2015 with our first brand, Leeds-List.
Our goal wasn’t simply to celebrate the city – we wanted to rethink how publishers and brands work together through sponsored content and native advertising campaigns.
At the time, many advertisers were telling us the same thing – they weren’t getting what they needed from the media industry.
Too often, publishers relied on generic ad placements and press releases, producing content that customers ignored and campaigns that struggled to generate clicks or engagement, let alone sales.
Traditional digital advertising performance was already declining – and the experience for readers was getting worse.
